A – Purchases
1. How can I place an order on line?
- You can order from the site by clicking the
"Add To Basket" button next to the item you wish
to purchase. This adds that item to your "Shopping
Basket".
- When you are ready to purchase, check your
"Shopping Basket" contents. You can remove or
change quantities of any item at any time.
- Click on the "Check Out" button which takes
you to our order form.
- Enter your personal information and credit
card details and submit your order via our secure
server.
- Alternatively you can call us on

to place your order or e-mail us at
orders@courts.com.jmand we will contact you to
take your order.
- PLEASE NOTE THAT ORDERS ARE ACCEPTED FROM
ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, HOWEVER DELIVERIES WILL BE
DONE ONLY IN JAMAICA.

2. How will I know my order has been accepted?
- You will receive an e-mail from us confirming receipt
of your order within 24 hours.
- We will then contact you by e-mail within 48 hours to
confirm:
*acceptance of your order
*target delivery date, and any additional appropriate
instructions.
- We will also advise the recipient in Jamaica of the
purchase.

3. What methods of payment do you accept?
- We accept MasterCard or Visa credit cards, as
well as NCB Keycard for Jamaican residents.

4. Do prices include Sales Tax?
- Yes, all prices include our local GCT at
Jamaica's standard rate - currently 16.5%

6. What happens if I cancel my order?
- Orders must be cancelled within 24 hours after
confirmation, providing delivery has not yet taken
place.
- Please contact us immediately on our Head

7. How long will delivery take and how can I track it?
- You will be advised by e-mail of the
anticipated delivery time, however most
deliveries generally take place within 48 hours
after confirmation, or at a time agreed with the
customer.

8. How much will delivery cost?
- Deliveries are within Jamaica only and are
FREE of charge.

9 . What if my delivery contains damaged goods?
- This may happen, although unlikely due to the
care and attention we give to the supply process.
- If this occurs, contact us at

Head Office number (in Jamaica) or

to arrange for the item to be replaced.
- If items need to be returned please keep the
original packaging.
- All returns and repairs must be arranged
through COURTS and we cannot accept returns which
have not been authorised.

10. What about COURTS Returns Policy?
- If your purchase is delivered damaged or
defective we will repair, replace or refund you
the full cost of purchase.
- If you detect a fault over time and the
product is still under warranty, we will repair
the item free of cost.
- If we are unable to repair the item, we will
replace it with the same or like product free of
cost.
- Goods should be inspected, and any faults
reported via fax or e-mail. We do not however
allow returns on beds after delivery for reasons
other than manufacturing defects.
- Refunds will be done by way of a credit to
your credit card.

11. How safe is it to give my credit card details online?
- As a long established retailer of 150 years
standing, we take the concerns of our customers
seriously. The Store here uses industry standard
128bit encryption and Secure Socket Layer
transactions. This technology leads the likes of
CNN to state "The prevalent opinion...is that
on-line credit card use is actually no riskier for
consumers than traditional "low-tech"
transactions." You should feel as safe as you
would using a credit card in a store or
restaurant, if not more so.
- In the extremely unlikely event of
unauthorized use of your credit or debit card,
most banks and card issuers either cover all the
charges that result from unauthorized use of your
credit or debit card, or may limit your liability.
Please check with your bank or credit card company
for details.
- If you still prefer not to send your credit or
debit card number over the Internet you can place
your order by telephone on on our Head Office

least one store in every parish making it very
convenient for customers to view our range.

14. Do you Offer Extended Warranties?
- We offer the best warranty on furniture and
appliances available in Jamaica. In addition to
the manufacturers' warranty, we also offer
optional extended warranty for both furniture
and electricals under Courts Supa Sheild.
